Your Social Media Profile – Personal or Business?

I must admit that before I started with my online business I never had a Facebook account. My kids were on it, but for me, I really looked at it as something I would never have time to do. I really saw it as a huge time waster.

But I have since learned that having a social media profile is an important part of my online business. It is a great networking tool and allows me to connect with like minded people in my business.

So my next challenge was, how do I set up this profile?

I wasn’t sure how I was going to distinguish it between business and personal, but still with enough of a personal touch to allow people to get to know, like, and trust me.

I found this great article by Eldon Beard that gives specific ways to set-up and use your social media profile as a way to promote yourself and your business.

If you’re just creating your profile or concerned that you’re not projecting enough of your business I think it will help.
